Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified Sales intern to conduct research and generate leads to hand off to the sales team, specifically for our Enterprise Information Archiving practice group and Continuity Replay solution.
The ideal intern will be energetic, creative, and willing to step out of their comfort zone to dive into understanding the Enterprise Information Archiving practice group, and software we are developing (Continuity Replay). You will gain hands-on experience working within our fastest growing practice group and develop a basic understanding of how to effectively prospect and conduct right party contact (RPC) research.
The internship position is available on a semester basis and is required to be in-person in our Rochester, NY office.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Research ideal accounts and right party contacts to send marketing materials
- Conduct outbound sales prospecting activity through cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn messaging
- Work in tandem with EIA sales directors to assist with territory development
- Supplement marketing campaigns with prospecting activity to a target list of accounts
- Schedule meetings for EIA sales directors with qualified leads; attend for learning purposes
- Clean, manage, & update Salesforce
Requirements
- Business, Sales, or Marketing major, Junior grade-level and above
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay organized while balancing multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications
- Prospecting experience through cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn messaging a plus

Logistics
- Available for at least 4-hour increments for 15-20 hours per week within the regular 8:30-5 business day; negotiable based on schedule
