Wilmac to Sponsor 13thirty Cancer Connect as a ‘Believer’ 

Wilmac is proud to be a corporate sponsor for 13thirty Cancer Connect this year, a nonprofit organization started in Rochester, NY in 2001. The organization was formed following the death of Melissa Sengbusch, who was 19 years old when she died of acute myeloid leukemia. Since 2001, 13thirty has become an internationally known and respected leader in the field of adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer because of their strong passion, clear vision, and steadfast commitment to a singular focus – teens and young adults with cancer.  

This summer, 13thirty is participating in a campaign called “A Community Thrives,” hosted by the Gannett Foundation. It is an annual campaign that started in mid-July. Wilmac will donate as a ‘Believer’ sponsor for this campaign as part of 13thirty’s efforts to receive an additional grant of up to $25,000.
